The students of Wulungarra CommunitySchool are immersed in a culturally rich and explicit learning environment reflecting on the needs, experiences and abilities of students. Through a whole school approach towards literacy and numeracy, students learn to read, write and understand in a highly supportive environment. With the implementation of the Western Australia Curriculum, all learning areas are taught with Aboriginal Perspectives in mind. Teaching and Learning are differentiated across the curriculum to cater for the diverse needs in our classrooms. Values Education is also an important focus at Wulungarra Community School. Students are encouraged through various school based programs to value and implement practices that promotes personal growth and well being where they recognise that everyone has the right to feel valued and be safe.
